We’re super excited to share that Group Bel Canada has donated nearly $200,000 worth of healthy snacks to Food Banks Canada’s After the Bell program. We are all about fighting food waste and providing healthy snacks to kids, especially during the summer when school meals aren’t an option.
Our contribution will help ensure kids and families get tasty, healthy snacks that are perfect for staying active, and having fun!
Our VP of Marketing and CSR, Marie-Ève Robert, states it perfectly: “Making a positive impact has always been in Bel’s DNA. We’ve been supporting food insecurity for over a century, and we feel this is our responsibility as a food manufacturer.”
We have supported this program with a contribution of delicious snacks like The Laughing Cow® Cheese Dippers and GoGo SqueeZ® fruit pouches, unique snacks that kids just love.
Erin Filey-Wronecki, Food Banks Canada’s Chief Development and Partnerships Officer, is just as thrilled: “Thanks in part to Bel Group Canada’s sponsorship of After the Bell, many children will have access to nutritious snacks this summer.”
In 2023 alone, Group Bel Canada has donated $1.7M in products and funds to various programs and rolled up their sleeves to volunteer, all to support food insecurity.
